Lady Pank
Lady Pank Minus zero
Lady Pank is Polish rock band formed in 1981 by Jan Borysewicz and Andrzej Mogielnicki. Its first hit was "Mała Lady Punk" (Little Lady
Punk). The group gained  a lot of attention in 1986 when MTV aired the video of their hit single.  Although the Americans called it "Minus
Zero" the English version. In Polish the title is Mniej niz zero (Less than zero).

Though a home grown band, they were a curiosity on the Polish music scene, gaining widespread notoreity even before they were formed.
Originally they planned to call themselves "Żużel" (which means "clinker", but also "speedway"). This promotional campaign got them a lot of
media coverage.

The video for one of the band's greatest hits "Zawsze Tam Gdzie Ty" was shot on location at Chicago's L, the Quincy Station in particular.

Lady Pank's lineup has changed numerous times throughout they years but the core remained the same:
Jan Borysewicz and Janusz Panasewicz have kept the unique and familiar sounds of the quinetet, The lead vocalist Panasewicz is the front
man, with occasional backup from guitarist Borysewicz (who has sung lead on a several tracks).

Lady Panks most popular songs are: "Tańcz głupia, tańcz" ("Dance stupid, dance"), "Mniej niż zero" ("Less than zero"), "Wciąż bardziej obcy"

"Zostawcie Titanica" ("Leave Titanic"), "Mała wojna" ("Small war"), "Zawsze tam gdzie ty" ("Always where you are"), "Znowu pada deszcz"
("Raining again"), "Na granicy", "Stacja Warszawa" ("Station Warsaw").

1983 was a banner year. In that year alone the group performed live 369 times.  Three years later their live shows grew to over 800, an all-
